Yes, it can, if its teacher is an architect !!

CONCEPT   EVOLUTION

  • A marriage hall is not only a commercial space but it is were  a new happy story for many begins.
    This is the story behind THE STORY OF ....  also as the building speaks the history of marriage through the spaces.

  • Since the vastu is the major factor in this design and also the history of marriage we tried to inculcate two concepts into one building which is,

  • Embracing Five Elements of nature into the design
    1. EARTH - to represent this elements warm earth colours has been used as the colour palette and also mostly used in the floors and facade ( copper cladding ).
    2. AIR - Since air is the element that is all over the place and its shapeless we used it in the main facade through parametric representing Drift.
    3. SPACE - There is a form that represents space in vastu shastra mandala so we used it as False ceiling design in the main hall and porch.
    4. WATER - Water has a rhythmic pattern which has again been used in the upper facade.
    5. FIRE - There is a form that represents Fire in vastu shastra mandala so we used it in stencil works at various places in the building.

  • Using Materials and art as a tool to represent the History of marriage throughout the building.

MATERIALS USED :

" PARAMETRIC + TRADITION = PARADITION "

The elevation is a fusion of traditional shapes which has been used in a modern method.

The Spaces of this has been categorized based on proximity of each and every space.

TERRACE FLOOR

Car parking, entry porch, staircase, lift, dining hall, VIP dining hall, food court, kitchen and storage, workers staying hall, toilets and wash basin.

Main Hall, Bride parents and Groom parents room, guest bed rooms and storage room.

Bride and Groom room, guest bed rooms and dormitory.
